Regional Head of Markets, SSA

Responsibilities

• Lead the growth activities, resources, and teams required to implement regional growth priorities and strategies.
• Ensure alignment and integration with direct and indirect channels and Authorized Training Partners (ATPs).
• Coordinate with organizations, government institutions, and academic institutions within the target region.
• Support revenue-generating marketing campaigns and communications.
• Support customer care and customer experience activities.
• Coordinate summits within the target region.
• Manage partnerships, agreements, and deals with global executive council members.
• Manage relationships with key accounts and other regional stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and PMP certification, or an MBA.
• 7–10 years of management experience in a global business environment involving multiple markets and channels.
• Experience building and sustaining programmatic success through geographically dispersed entities or virtual communities of engaged stakeholders.
• Track record of successful channel, B2B, management, and business plan development, including integration of market planning across diverse areas.
• Experience developing partnerships and agreements that serve the business.
• Experience in a business-to-consumer (B2C and B2B) environment is highly desirable.
• Strong problem-solving ability and sound business judgment when assessing multiple competing opportunities.
• Knowledge of marketing and relationship management tools and techniques, with the ability to present and apply them in an association environment and at senior management and executive levels.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, including demonstrated team-based operational and strategic results.
• Ability to lead, retain, and progress staff.
• Experience working in an agile, dynamic, and customer-centric environment.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in English.
